Hotel pickup is at 7:00 or 7:30 AM before travelling to Balik Pulau to experience a different side of Penang’s local culture, environment and food.

Enjoy a light local snack and a drink before the bicycle tour starts at 8:00 AM and follows the six-stop countryside route.

Ride through beautiful paddy-field trails, farms and colourful villages while your guide shares the story of the area and its sights and smells.

A short part of the route follows the roadside, as Balik Pulau locals do. You may see villagers, including children, cycling alongside the route.

Direct-booking cancellation requests close at 12:00 AM Malaysia time at the start of the calendar day before the tour—for example, a Saturday tour closes when Friday begins. Eligible approved requests receive a partial refund of 90% of the amount paid. Submitting a request does not automatically cancel the booking or issue a refund; staff review the reason. Marketplace bookings follow the terms shown by that marketplace.

What happens if the weather is unsafe?
