Mission
Make Balik Pulau a name people know through experience.
Showcase Balik Pulau’s culture and nature through welcoming hospitality and meaningful tours, while helping preserve the traditional life that gives the place its character.
About Audi Jaya Holdings
Founded by Sam Lim, Audi Jaya Holdings connects farm learning, countryside stays, garden gatherings and locally guided journeys.
The story begins with a childhood rooftop sanctuary and continues through work, loss and rebuilding. Today, that same instinct to make room for people, animals and local life shapes four distinct ways to experience Balik Pulau.

The story in brief
Vision and mission

Mission
Showcase Balik Pulau’s culture and nature through welcoming hospitality and meaningful tours, while helping preserve the traditional life that gives the place its character.
Vision
Create family-friendly, educational encounters with nature that build environmental awareness and encourage visitors to care for the living world around them.
Our story · The long road
Founder Sam Lim’s journey moves from a childhood impulse to shelter animals through working life, entrepreneurship and rebuilding. The places in Balik Pulau are later chapters in that longer story.
1972 · Age 9
At nine, Mr Sam Lim turned a rooftop into a small sanctuary for pigeons. The memory records an early wish to make space for animals and live closer to them.
Work, loss and rebuilding
After losing the rooftop refuge, he entered working life at 18 as an office boy, progressed to branch manager and later built a business of his own. An economic downturn brought another serious setback—and another reason to begin again.
2007 onward
A period of resurgence began in 2007. It eventually created new ways for families, students and travellers to stay, learn, gather and explore in Balik Pulau.
From one belief to four experiences
The founder’s story continues through four distinct experiences. Each one has its own purpose and page, but all share an invitation to spend time with the place rather than simply pass through it.

2011
Audi Guest House began in 2011. AirAsia’s RM9.90 fare sparked an idea for equally accessible countryside holidays: a kampung wooden house, bicycles and the invitation “Everybody Can Cycle in Balik Pulau”.

2016
Audi Dream Farm followed in 2016, returning to the founder’s early love of pigeons and expanding it into a nature escape with goats and other animals for family visits. Workshops, planting, composting and animal care turned curiosity into shared educational experiences.

A later chapter
Love UU Garden later extended the welcome into camping beside the paddy landscape, BBQ gatherings and picnics—a slower setting for reconnecting with nature.
